The Majá del Vasco

This viewpoint is located in the municipality’s Boyal pasture, southeast of the urban area of Serradilla and next to the Camino de la Barca route, and is equipped with a small shelter, vehicle access and a picnic area with good shade.

From here you can see the entire Sierra de Peñafalcón and the Salto del Gitano, as well as an extensive mountain area inhabited by large herbivores such as deer and wild boar. This is also a good point for observing the large Monfragüe birds of prey in flight, since they frequent this pasture on a daily basis in search of food.
